Midterm Blues

Yes, that is the official medical term for what I have. Symptoms include, but are not limited to the following: nausea, vomiting, night sweats, headaches, dizziness, general feeling of malaise, depression, lethargy...and the list goes on and on.
It is indead the midterm and midterm exams and papers are in full swing. The assignments are starting to pour in and my ambission is fading quickly.

I have begun to pull out all my best procrastination tactics such as this: blogging.

It seems that I get this way each semester right around this time so these feelings come as no big surpirse, but somehow this time around I have been in this rut for a lot longer than usual. I think it may be due to the fact that I am getting tired of playing the "nursing school game" as my friend Darla so wonderfully put it. I am getting so close to being done. Done this semester, done my 3rd year and done this whole program that I am getting ansy and the Midterm Blues have begun once again and are dragging me down!
I will make it out of this rut, there is no question. But hopefully it happens sooner rather than later as I have a tad bit of work that is gonna keep piling up unless something changes soon!
